    Lightbulb help with ticks

I have found ticks on our place. we havent had chooks for about 6 months, but have found ticks everywhere. we have goats, lambs, did have about 25 chickens, but most of the chickens died within 5 days of getting them and letting them outside.need something that is not harmfull to the environment or the animals hopefully.

Diatomaceous Earth might be an option too.
