More class reunion questions...
If you attended yours, how much did it cost? And what did that include? Where was it held?
My 20th is the day after Thanksgiving, and it's at a Marriott just outside Boston. Cost is $50 pp and includes appetizers. It's being held from 7-midnight.

I went to my 10th. It was $100/person at a hotel, included buffet dinner, wine or beer and cup souvenir. Was NOT worth it. I was not going to go until my friend and her husband split and she had already purchased 2 of the non-refundable tickets, so I went as her date

I went to and helped planned my last one and I am working on planning the 20th right now.
I did go and it is fun Michelle YOU SHOULD GO!!!! I was never in the popular group or the in crowd but going back to see what has happened to those people is fun!! I know that sounds wrong but really seeing the popular guy that wouldn't even give me the time of day back in high school and how is now bald and fat and divorced is kinda funny to me............ Or you know the people with the better then everyone attitude who had trouble after high school, I know I am mean but I like seeing that.. You know the saying what goes around comes around and it is fun to see the come around :~)
For the Marriot the day after Thanksgiving for $50 is about average I think. Let me ask though is there dinner or just appetizers?
BUT after planning and going to my last one I would go again!!!

DH and I graduated one year apart from the same high school. We went to his reunion but the next year I did not want to go to mine. This is what we paid for his 10 year in 2000. We did not attend his 15 year either.
$50 per couple for a Friday night, light h'orderves and wine gathering. (Semi-formal attire)
$25 per family, plus zoo admission for a Saturday for an afternoon at the Zoo with lunch and children's entertainment. (Casual attire)
$75 per person for a Saturday night formal dinner and dance. (Formal attire)
We also bought an update book for $10 and a photographer was available for purchases as well.DD (19)

My 25th was held a few years ago and I went. What a waste! It was held at The Belliveiw Biltmore. A huge old hotel in my hometown. We held 2 proms there when I was in high school and I wanted to see who and what had changed.
The cost was sky high over $100.00 per night. Friday night for drinks, meet and greet and hors dorvous. Saturday night sit down dinner and dancing til 2 am.
My class was over 700 kids and about 300 showed up. Many I didn't care for then and cared less for now. After the cocktail thing on Friday night DH and I left because we wanted to eat but not at the hotel. WAY TOO Expensive. So we hit some old hang outs in town. Nice but after 25 years too much has changed.
I must say that the hotel was grand and beautiful. We went because DH felt bad as we had been to many of his school functions and none of mine. I'll not go to another.

I just had my 30th, helped plan it in fact. The total cost was about $250 including postage, pizza, drinks and picture cd's mailed out to all who came. We didn't 'charge' but took donations to deposit in the bank for the next get together. Personally I know it's a substantial amount but I say *go*! (it will most likely make you feel very good about yourself
).
