    Default Freezing food?

Sorry, I forget to also ask in my previous post if freezing works well for you, and if it does, what do you freeze in? Has anyone tried the new ziploc or reynolds wrap bags that you use a pump to remove the air? Are they worth the money? I was saving butter tubs and bread bags for thrifty freezer storage, but once again, it takes 2 people longer than a family of 4 to go through food, and I was having a lot of freezer burn, which kinda sabotages the frugal train!! I've been buying the ziploc freezer bags -- slider style -- quart size. This is the only thing I've found that doesn't end up freezer burnt by the end of the month.. also, we only have the freezer above the fridge... no chest type freezer yet!

I just freeze things in ziplock bage or butcher paper. Seems to work ok. I do freeze some soups in jars.

I have a Foodsaver and freeze with that and sometimes in Ziploc bags. I have also frozen in Tupperware type containers.

I just took out my first batch of muffins that I froze. Stuck them in the microwave for 15 seconds, very good. I just put them in a ziploc baggie, which I'm going to wash and reuse! I never used to freeze anything besides meet, etc. I'll definitely be doing more now!
