    Default Pit Stains?

I'm very picky about my clothes, I don't really like most styles, so when I find something I like, I stick with it.

However, some of my shirt have caked on deodorant in the pits and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good method of getting rid of it. I have no idea how some got so bad.

And it peeves me because the shirts are fine in all other respects.

    Today must be laundry day.
Are you using homemade laundry detergant? I noticed this problem when I made a batch of it and the batch was off. I ended up adding more borax and washing soda and that fixed it.
Have you tried a product like Desolve it or once again shampoo or dish detergant?

Spray with a spot treater. It will get it right out.

I've read somewhere and I wish I remember where, that spraying the pit stained areas with vinegar usually works.

I haven't tried anything yet, so all ideas are welcome!

And yes, Friday is my laundry day, how could you tell.

I also use vinegar. In the summer when I use more deodorant my shirts get a little yellowed in the pits. In a bucket put warm water, about 1tablespoon of detergent and 1/2 cup white vinegar & drop the shirts in. They can soak in this untl ready to wash. Or add vinegar to machine & soak before wash cycle
