Anyone know what Walmart's coupon policy is?
I usually use my coupons at Kroger's, because they double up to 1.00, and 1.00-2.00 coupons are worth 2.00, anything from 2.00 up is for face value. There, or Walgreens when I can sale+coupon shop.
I have not yet tried WM for coupons. Do they even take them, and if so, do they double? I looked at the ad this weekend and couldn't find an answer.______

I also usually use my coupons at Kroger, Walgreens, and CVS. Wal-Mart does take coupons but as far as I am aware they do not double them. At least my Wal-Mart doesn't. I actually don't like using them there because the cashier's always seem annoyed.

It's my understanding from a friend that works there that Walmart says their prices are already discounted so they don't distribute coupons but they do accept coupons.

You might want to print the policy and bring it with you when you shop. Walmart is notorious for having cashiers that like to make up their own coupon rules.

walmart coupon policy
I'm wondering if anyone has had luck with ANY stores accepting the coupons you can print from the internet. I shop at Ingles in NC and although they have a place on their web site that you can print off coupons the stores do not accept the. Same with walmart and Bi-Lo. Can anyone tell me if they have had any luck with these coupons or does anyone know how to get stores to change their policy. As for shopping at walmart, they may discount their prices but they don't compare with the sales you can find at the regular grocery store and Walmart does not accept competitors coupons or double them either.

Hmmmm.........sounds like I'll be sticking with Kroger, for groceries anyway. Their prices are pretty good on everything, actually. Even HBA, they discount a lot and haves good sales on.
Thanks everyone!!

I have shopped Walmart for years and just recently learned the Walmart policy of couponing. (since this is where my DH works pt). They will accept coupons, but will not accept competitor coupons (ie. walgreens), and they will not double coupons. Walmart will ad match, but to be on the safe side I ALWAYS have the ad with me for verification (especially if it is for an electronic item). That is all I can think of right now. I use all of these when shopping there and also take advantage of my DH's employee discount.

With coupons the registers at walmart will only take a certain number of them, if you have more coupons they have to get the manager to OK the other coupons. I don't remember what the number of coupons are. At the Walmarts in my area they won't price match grocery items.

I'm in the DC area, and I regularly use internet coupons at Giant and Harris Teeter. I believe Giant's policy is they don't let you use an internet coupon that gets you something "free," but everything else is fair game. Most cashiers I've had at either store really don't care and would probably scan anything with a barcode.
Visit the store's website- they should have a policy on there. If not, call the individual store and speak with the manager.
