    Default Christmas cards

What do you do with your cards after the holiday? I"m going to take the fronts of mine and send them to the St Jude's Ranch for Children.
They will take any cards as long as there is no hand writing on them.
If anyone would like the address please email me and I will be glad to share it with you. I am collecting them from my mom, neighbor and a fw friends.

    Hi Anna,
This is probably a silly question...but what do they do with them? Make them into new cards? I don't have many, but if they're going to a good cause, I'd be happy to send them rather than throw them out

Would you PM or email me the address? Thanks!

Lightbulb Tip - Last years Christmas cards

Do you save the cards you get every year? Well here is a way to recycle them:

Cut around the picture on the front cover, punch a hole in it at the top and thread a ribbon or piece of yarn and tie. You now have gift tags you didn't have to buy!

You can use the fancy little scissors for paper and do this while watching TV at night, you'll be done in no time.

You can use the same idea to make lacing/sewing cards for your kids - punch holes all around the outer edge of the front of the card and let your child weave a shoelace through the holes - great for motor skills.

Default Use those old Christmas cards......

I found this tip in a newsletter and thought I'd share it.......

Use your old Christmas cards as a table cover. buy some heavy
clear plastic that fit over your table then tape the fronts of the
cards face down onto the plastic. tape them to the shape of your
table. When completely covered, simply turn it over. Presto a table
cover with memories. also use the fronts of some as postcards.

Hey we frugal people know that post cards are cheaper to mail than cards.....
