Have you soaked them in hot water with calgon dishwasher detergent and clorox 2? I've saved tons of stuff like that.

Little dresses or onesies can be made into clothespin keepers.

I made dusting cloths out of the footed pjs. You know the fuzzy ones. You can do the same with blankets, diapers, and burping clothes.

You can take shorts and make pockets out of them to hold things. I would just cut the legs even with the crotch and then sew them up. Then when I had enough, I would sew them to an old blanket and hang it on the back of a door to put things in. I used them in the bathroom to hold curling irons, wash cloths, hand towels, and such.
In the older kids rooms, I used them for things like socks, underwear, or, let the kids use them to hold their things in to make the room more tidy.

The little t-shirts and such became rags for dh to use in the garage.
There are all kinds of things that these stained clothes can be used for.

Put a little applique over the stain.

Can you cut out squares of the pictures (like teddy bears and duckies) and make them into a baby quilt?

That's exactly what I was going to say! Great minds think alike! I wish I had saved my kids' baby clothing and made them each a sweet memory quilt.

I was going to suggest applique-ing something over the stains but Penascodragonfly beat me to it!

I have had great luck removing set and old stains with Oxy Clean.

Okay, I admit, I use the cheap knock off stuff from Wally World.

Other than that, give them to someone who needs them. Stained clothes are just fine for around the house.

I've taken stained baby clothes and made them into bibs and have used pretty parts to applique onto cloth diapers for either burp rags or even, cloth diapering. I have also given the semi-stained newborn outfits to my daughter to use as play clothes for her dolls. I have even made nursing pads from the softer, beyond help stained items. I don't care what they look like as long as they are functional.

Other thoughts as I am typing:
    * Washrags for baby baths
    * Homemade diaper wipes. You won't feel bad throwing one or two of the beyond soiled ones away as they were already re-cycled.

Have fun! Let us know what you end up doing with them.

Somewhere in the first Tightwad Gazette book is a recipe for a stain remover. It's supposed to take out almost anything.

You could always donate the clothes to the local homeless shelter, home for unwed mothers or battered woman's shelter.

Are you wanting to re-sell the clothes or just re-purposing them?

I swear by Oxy Clean. Both the powder and the spray. I am amazed at what stains it gets out.

I have 5 year old, 3 year old and 8 month old. We do alot of laundry here.
