    Default freezer containers

Anybody have a good idea for labeling freezer containers? I have tried markers and freezer tape. Both come off. I could just put everything together but that would work til someone rooted in the freezer.TIA

I used masking tape. I write on it with a sharpie type pen, stick in on the top of the container, and then take wide, clear "packing" type tape, and slap it over the top of the masking tape....works like a charm!! Keeps it on and protects the writing, comes right off too.

i use masking tape too but i don't tape over it...if you put it on the containers when they are room temp it seems to stick...i have tried to put it on when they have been in the freezer and no luck....

in a pinch i used a sticky-note with scotch tape on both ends...it held nicely....

I've done the packing tape over a label thing too.

Thanks I'll have to try that. Nothing like wanting soup and ending up with gravy instead

Painter's tape!! It sticks to everything but a greasy container (just found that out tonight).
