And FORGET about using a "real" moisturizer with sunscreen -- makes me break out worse! This stinks!
Baking soda, as ladykemma2 suggested might help with your acne?
My 14 dd. was having the worst break-outs and since she started using this, it has helped her 90%.

She uses the baking soda scrub about twice a week & then just washes twice daily inbetween.

I mean, hey, it's worth a shot & you've probably already got some in your house.
I would try it at night though, because it can leave your skin looking 'splotchy' from the exfoliation of the baking soda.

I know what you mean about not being able to use any OTC, my dd. is the same way.
Her skin is just like a babies skin and everything she was using would make her face peel, it was awful, so we completely stopped buying anything over the counter.

Oh! & I know that I already mentioned the "Purpose" soap, but seriousy it works really good.
I've not ever used the pump facial wash that they have, but the soap is really good stuff.

Good luck. I know how really frustrating it can be not to be able to find a product that helps.

Also, Walgreens puts stuff 50% and 75% off on their clearance racks which is how I got my Aveeno.
I picked up Garnier Nutrisse the other day at Wally World. I love the face cleaner! The moisturizer is really nice too. I have not worn makeup over it yet. So I waiting to see how it works with foundation.

Both have a nice smell that isn't over powering.

I am going to try some of the other suggestions in this thread too. I was thinking of Aveeno. Waiting for coupons.

I use the Timewise line from Mary Kay. Basic would be the Timewise 3-in-1 cleanser and Moisturizer. I find w/ daily use it last me approx. 3 months. Remember that Mary Kay gives a product guarantee.
I don't know how Mary Kay Timewise compares in price to Clinique, but I really like it. I love the the day/night solutions! My skin is as soft as a baby's butt!

I use Oil of Olay total effects the cleansing wipes and the moisturizer. I just got the eye cream to add to my regime as well. I really enjoy the products and get a lot of compliments on my skin. Hope you find something you really like!

No kidding. But I got adult acne from retinol products! (Until I learned the secret which was I put it on/washed my face too much.) If I'm going out, I might swipe at my face with a washcloth with cold water on it, no soap, during the day. (I do NOT wear makeup btw!) Every now and again, I'll use a lipstick, but I do use clear lip gloss most days.

At night, I wash my face with hot water (again no soap) and a washcloth then put on whatever retinol cream I'm using currently. (I used Almay stuff, but they've TWICE discontinued the product line I used... so now I'm using Neutrogena!)

Thanks Grainlady, I'll have to try that coconut oil!

If you think your reaction is due to one ingredient or another, or you are sensitive to product A and not product B, you might want to check out the products at this website, I've found it very useful.

At my age I'm not sure anything will help! LOL! 67 and counting---mostly I use whatever I have a coupon for and got some real stinkers sometimes. Like the Gold Bond body lotion and Oil of Olay for my face and usually have a coupon since I watch for them and try to have one on hand as I near the end of a container.
