Done Your Taxes Yet?
Who has done their taxes and filed everything away already?
Dawned on me yesterday as a chore to take care of and it took about an hour as I do them online.
And...to my surprise and the first time in a long time we've got a nice refund coming.
We'll add it to the EF. What about you? Got the taxes done? Dreading getting all the paperwork together? Or can it wait until the night before April 15th?" May we never let the things we can’t have or don’t have or shouldn’t have spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have. As we value our happiness, let us not forget it. One of the greatest lessons in life is learning to be happy without the things we cannot or should not have."

We haven't, but we have bought our Turbotax software. Io wish I'd known Circuit City was going to have it for $15.00 at their going out of business sale. I'd already paid about $50.00.

I have everything together, since I keep my records straight all year long. But, won't file until the 15th...we always owe no sense in giving them the money earlier than we need too.

I've done ours but won't file until April. We have small refunds (like $130 fed, $30 state) but my DH owes taxes from last year so they will apply it to that.

My fiance did his at the end of last month and already has both state and federal in the savings. I have my state done and in the account. I'm waiting for my 1099 from unemployment to get here so I can send my federal off. I'm getting pretty ticked off as I thought is was a law they had to send an actual form to you. Instead I was sent a PDF online that is just a copy for me! Now it will take 4-6 weeks for the actual form to get here?! I usually have mine done and back before fiance. If it's not here this week I'm calling the IRS and asking about this.
