    So glad I found this page! I ran out of coffee filters and wanted to use paper towel but thought it might fall apart. After reading these posts I gave it a try and it worked quite well! Coffee tastes great!

    When I worked in a cafeteria, we used a muslin coffee filter. It was washed, but not nearly often enough!

    Here's info re the various types of coffee filters and the pros/cons of each as well as recommendations for the type of grind to use.
