I want to try canning this year so I would love to find canning supplies!
I want to kill my mortgage! 192,391/197,370 (since July 2011)
I'm attempting to live by the principles of The Compact in 2012. Wish me luck!
2012 Financial goals
- make an extra $15k over and above any flying pay (1705/15000)
- pay an extra $1750 off my mortgage (557/1750)
- bring EF back to $10k - $3533 left to save
- avoid lifestyle inflation
- improve investment plan (change accounts) - *grumble grumble* Bank made a mistake, need to re-do paperwork
The Financial Goals I've achieved: increased RSP contribution to $300/mth, posted budget on FV for review, saved $1600 to go on vacation

Canning supplies. Found 2 boxes for $2.00 today ( about 24). They are atlas jars I believe. I hope they are compatible w/ Ball rings and lids because they came with none. Need to buy a new canner.
Thanks for reminding me to start my computer list flie for garage sales hunts.

A bread machine is what I want the most. A close second would be a new stockpile of the kind of books I enjoy reading.

I am looking for a baby gate. I just got a puppy recently and need a way to keep her in a room while I am gone other than closing a door.
I also would love to find some canning jars.

a large crock pot with a lid - removable crock
11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
credit card debt 7500
mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
then live on the rest!
i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

Shirts and pants that will actually fit my big fat self....that are not polyester, with hideous loud colors or prints. Most of the clothes I find in my size are so ugly I wouldn't wear them to a rat killing.

5-gal gas cans (to store gas for my new generator during hurricane season), canning jars, food sealer (with option to seal jars), and meat slicer. I should be able to find the gas cans and canning jars at garage sales and the food sealer and meat slicer are very likely at the estate sales I go to.

I too will be looking for canning jars, knitting and crocheting supplies, Food saver, and hopefully some bowling shoes, because the boys and I have bowling passes for the summer and don't want to rent shoes every time. Possibly some clothes for my growing boys. Can't think of anything else off the top of my head!
