Default What to do with laundry soap cup?

I buy a powdered laundry soap that comes with a nice scooper with a little handle. Any ideas about how I can re-purpose these? I hate to just throw them out.

I have a few that are exactly 1/4 cup. I washed them out extremely well, then I put them in the canisters I have my flour, sugar, etc in. So now I have a bunch of quarter cup scoops for free :-)

Use the scoops for dog food, cat food, potting soil, let the kids use them in the sand, at the beach, etc.

I agree with dog food and potting soil.

    ALSO----
    I use them for birdseed

for the salt you put on icy driveways and sidewalks in the winter

to measure laundry add-ins like borax (doesn't come with one)

for the water required to add to my fabric softener dispenser

    to spread grass seed

I used to use it to add chemicals to our pool, when we had one

    to spread weed&feed on garden

I make kids toys out of them. . . drill a small hole in the bottom of the scoop. . . tie a sting through the hole, and use aluminum foil on the other end to make a ball, then toss the ball and try to catch it in the scoop.

I also make diaorama type pictures in them, punch a hole in the handle and use as Christmas ornaments.

You can use the for dog or cat food scoops!!

You could save them, cut the handle part off and use the to plant your garden seeds in.

You could also donate them to your local school.

Use them in sand box or the like.

You could use the in your "canisters" to scoop out you flour, sugar, coffee. Use a perminent marker to make a line on the out side for "different" amounts.

Use them in crafts, you could put glue or paint in them so that it is disposable.

They are good to take camping with you to measure things out in, since they are disposable.

I use mine as a white vinegar rinse scoop. I fill it with enough white vinegar to make one entire pour around my clothes when the rinse cycle comes on. I've also used them for powdered cleaning products and mark them at certain intervals (like 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, etc). It works great for Borax and A&H Washing Soda.

If you don't have pets, you can donate them to a shelter for scooping food.

Donate to a handyman/painter etc. My dad does floors & is always looking for something to mix stains in for his samples.

    Thanks for the ideas.....

I have been tossing them..after I had too many and didn't know what to do with them....guess I will save them and use for something in the garden. Can always use them for the little starts of plants.

I like that idea...to use them to start plants. I would have never thought of that idea.
