Has anyone ever used or known of anyone that went through Supportkids for back child support? The domestic relations office in the town we live is is laughable to say the least and won't go after my ex since she's out of state. Costs too much. Well she owes me over 10,000 dollars. She told my daughter that if she ever came to live with me that there would be no contact or money from her that she would write her off.(She was 10 at the time.nice thing to say to your daughter isn't it?) She has lived up to that promise. The bad thing is that when my daughter goes to see her grandparents her mother shows up. We don't want to kep her from her grandparents especially since they are both having health problems . I found supportkids on the internet and saw it advertised. They do take a percentage of what they collect but at this point I don't care. Thanks for any suggestions before I jump in with both feet as I am out of options it seems.

My mom is still going through the child support stuff. After many years and up to $90,000 owed he went to prison for 7 months (he got out early for good behavior) Before the prison time he was told to pay $5 a month, that's not a typo! He even refused to pay that. My mother's attorney said in order for him to be released from prison he would have to pay the full balance and it has not happened. My only advice is to get as much support as possible now before it gets more out of control than what you have. I wish you the best of luck with everything!
