Tissue or toliet paper?
Which is cheaper to blow your nose with? I have never bought tissues, but my mind was wondering today for some reason. Thank you for any answers.

Hankies, and as we say in the South.....take 2 hankies - one to blow and one to show. Also nice to have that extra one to share.

real linen handkerchiefs.
one to blow and one to show. that's funny.11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
credit card debt 7500
mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
then live on the rest!
i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

I don't care.......TP is for the 'southern end'.......tissue is for the north.
I just CAN'T blow my nose on a hanky......then stuff the snot back into my pocket........

I actually did the calculations at one point...as long as you follow the 4 square rule, then TP is much, much cheaper!
Let me see if I can calculate it out....
I buy 4 rolls of 1000 square TP at Aldi's for $2.29.
Following the 4 square rule, I get 1000 uses per package.
Cost per use is: 0.002 cents per use
Let's say I get a 216 count box of kleenex on sale for $1.99
Cost per use is: 0.009 cents per use
While it seems silly, since both cost under a penny, there really is a significant difference over time!

For a cold......I use tissues...but for the little drips and sneezes hankies. But I haven't had a cold in over 4 years. At the first sign of someone's cold I take Air Borne and prevent the cold from coming.
