Driveway stains
Anyone have any ideas what we can use to get oil stains off the cement driveway? My dh's truck leaks so bad. We keep a board under it but it still manages to stain. Any ideas are appreciated. Thank You!!

Go down to your local hardware shop and buy a product called "Floor Dry" it is like a cat litter. Sprinkle it on, using your foot (with a shoe on) scratch/rub it on the oil stains. Sweep up the excess and viola! All gone. It is cheap too...only about $4.00 for a 25 pound bag. My hubby uses it in his automotive shop all the time.

After you have used the oil dry and sweep it up if there is still a stain get powered Tide with bleach and sprinkle it over the stain and dampen it to a paste. scrup with an old broom let it set for a few hours and rinse it off.

In the "love and care" that we were given when we bought our new house, it said to use oven cleaner.

My hubby uses a stuff called "floor dry" in the garage (cement floor) and it seems to work pretty well. When he doesn't have "floor dry" he uses plain old clay cat litter...works just as well.
