Water Ionizers??
Who has one and do you think it was worth the cost?
They remove the acidity from water and leave it more alkaline which is supposed to balance the PH in our bodies (or something like that I read)
my friend got one and I swear she looks healthier! she said she feels so much better drinking this water??!
So does anyone have one and can tell me if they noticed real affects from it?
I am thinking of getting one but cost is not cheap. $800 for basic model, like $1200--1800 for better model and into the $3K-4 range for house units.
just wondering and thought I would throw it out there for info.
thanks

It's bunk. None of the health claims made by the people who sell these gizmos are supported by credible scientific research.

I have a DR. friend that swears by these and has one, he "lets" anyone come up and fill jugs any time they want. I did some research and such and loved what I heard. we tested our own water (we have a well) and it was almost as good as the water that had been ionozer. So for us, we decided it was a waste.
Now with that said, I do believe that a lot of people think it is worth the cost and feel better too, but I would bet that they feel that way just because they are drinking a lot more water. I am not convience that it is the ionized water, just the water, kwim?
I would just try to drink more good water first and see if you dont feel that it is just as good, if you are not convienced, then get some jugs and "borrow" some from your friend for a few weeks and see if that is better than your own water, if it is then go for it.
I know that we do not need it because of our well, but if we lived in a large city, I might have had a different conclusion, so you will have to use your own judgement after you expermint for a while. Good luck.

I don't know about water ionizers but I had the foot bath ionizer and it was wonderful made me feel so good. It was sure worth it to me. I heard of the ionic shower heads maybe you can get one of them and try it. JAT.
