Looking for gallon plastic jars at a REASONABLE price.
Does anyone know where I can get large gallon widemouth
plastic jars at a REASONABLE price?
I found the perfect jars earlier, 10 inches high and 5.9
inches wide. A reasonable price, but when I went to
checkout to check shipping, there was a "small quantity"
charge of $15.00 bringing the total to almost $40 with
that and the shipping!
I will spare you what I want them for, lol, but they do
not need to be food grade. I need 5 of them. You have succeeded in life when all you really want is only what you really need.

If you don't mind them used, check any restaurant or your local grocery store that also has a deli counter, and see if they have some you could have. Pickles, and many other things usually come in gallons.

Yup, what Grainlady said. My brother has a restaurant and he accumulates lots of plastic containers of all sizes. They're usually happy to give some away.

I found some at dollar tree last year.

I work at a high school and we get lots of them.
We get salad dressing and mayo in them.
So ask your local school cafeteria lady if they have any.Debra

Ask your local hot dog stand owner. I did and have a bunch in my kitchen, price = $0.00.

I buy mayo in the big plastic jug (store it on the bottle shelf of the fridge in the back) and refill my squeeze bottle. I also buy pickles in the big glass jars. I give the glass jars away on freecycle. I will have to offer my plastic bottles and see if anyone local can use them.

I have some I bought at Dollar General years ago. What I like about them is the top screws down like a jar, it doesn't just snap on.
