Default Tried and true homemade cleaners?

I would like a recipe for a homemade cleaner to clean the bathtub and showers. I feel like I'm just wasting my money when I buy something that claims to "work like magic" and then come to find out that it doesn't do a good job at all. TIA!

In my opinion, STEAM is one of the most over-looked, most effective, and least toxic cleaners we can use. I have a file folder full of all kinds of "recipes" for all kinds of cleaners, but steam seems to work best for me.

Magic Erasure. works on everything. I use it to clean my tub/shower. u can feel the erasure 'release' when the spot is clean. it slides over the area easier is what I mean by release...

I'm not the OP but thanks for the tip. I'll give the Magic Eraser a try in DH's shower which he NEVER helps clean.

If you have shower doors (as opposed to curtain) use a squeegee (sp?) after each shower to stop the water spots from building up.

I use steam and a chamois cloth to clean my mirrors and chrome after I take a shower. After you buy the chamois, it's free, a price I like!

If you must clean them otherwise, rubbing alcohol is great for chrome fixtures.
