Pick answers for your questions please..
No seriously.. I mean I know it's cool to wait a week or so and get a variety of answers.. but c'mon! I think we have more unanswered questions than answered ones.

Part of the problem is there's more than a few "questions" which are really "requests for opinions" and not "requests for the one true correct answer".
"How do I remove mud stains from my socks" can get a "best" answer. "What has your experience with lemon zest been like" really can't.If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

can a forum default be set up that after 10 days of activity, the forum resets the question from unansweredto answered?
It is what it is.

I suppose I could ask Sara if it'd be ok to remove questions from here that can't really HAVE a best answer...

People might just not select a best answer because that might end the dialog.

Not to be a smartass or anything but I don't really see why it matters...

I just figured maybe people forgot to choose an answer, and a reminder wouldn't hurt

Nah.. not missing anything. I'm just one of those mildly anal retentive people who like things finished..
I read the new questions, answer if I have one.. but for me it's just a sort of life cycle. A lot of times I'll go back through older questions and read the "best answer". I mean, why not take 20 seconds to find out the best way to get rid of ketchup stains?
So I never know if any of the answers worked.. unless someone chooses a "best" answer. Presumably the best answer is the one that worked the best.

I have to agree with you on this. If you don't want to pick the best answer then post your question in a different forum. I like seeing who has the best answer for the person who posted. It's not a contest but it is nice to see the "Question and Answer" finished.JMO.
