What kind of beans are you wanting to make?

I'm not sure what link you are specifically looking for,
but there was a thread on the forum several weeks
ago, and a few of the girls relayed how they cook
beans in the crockpot. It was very informative in
my opinion, as I didn't know you COULD cook beans
in a crockpot!

If this isn't it, I'm sure a Google search would provide
answers.

Not a link but here is how I cook beans in the crock pot.
I soak the bean the day before then rinse and add clean water and soak overnight. ( soak them twice)
In the morning drain, add soaked beans to crock pot then add some garlic and a Tablespoon of oil, add water to cover beans by and inch then cook on high for 5 to 6 hours.

I think cooking them on high is the key. For any kind of beans. And if you're going to use tomatoes or any acid foods in them, wait until they're almost done.

I just dump mine in, cover until water is over the top 2 inches or so, set it on high and walk away. I usually do this at night and they are cooked by morning. I then spice or season them after they are cooked. I freeze unused portions for other recipes.

Do you have the package? It should say on the package. Just throwing them in the pot and heating them up is usually good enough. I don't even soak mine any more, just cook them on high all day long and they come out fine. Haven't tried the black bean yet though because the commissary doesn't carry them dry without a soup mix.
