Are you reading a good book right now, one that you would recommend?
I just finished "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett, and enjoyed it very much. It takes place in the South. I got it at the library.

Right now I'm reading Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane. At first I thought it was kind of slow but it got good very quickly and now I can't wait to find out what happens next!

I'm reading The Dome by Stephen King. I don't ever want it to end. I get sad towards the ends of his books because I can't stand for them to end they are so good. I love his character development.

FARM CITY- wonderful book about a woman, living in a blighted area of Oakland,CA, who turns an abandoned lot into a self-sufficient farm. True story; funny story; smart story. Great for urban homesteaders, food lovers, animal lovers, or narrative journalism nerds.

I'm reading Just In Case How to be self-sufficient when the unexpected happens - by Kathy Harrison.
For the most part it's a pretty good book with many very good ideas, but she also gives information for things she obviously doesn't really know much about, hasn't actually experienced or used, as well as some things that are actually unwise or unsafe when it comes to emergency preparedness. But all-in-all, a pretty good book.
