    Oh I so want one of those for boots. That would be so handy for rainy and snowy boots. I'll have to keep an eye out for one. I'm not sure I have seen one before.

    I second the boot tray. Works great! Also, my dogs have one of those upside down water bottles that lets out about a cup of water into the bowl at a time. Much less mess that way.

    We use a boot tray. It slurps out sometimes, but the tray has a lip so it stays off the floor.

    I have this problem with my cats!!! My male cat knocks the whole bowl all the way over and its ALL OVER THE FLOOR. Everyday! We have tried SO many different bowls. I have given up.

    Have you tried a tall weighted or ceramic cat water bowl? They're made especially for this reason.

    Yep I have. A super heavy one thats tall, and he still some how knocks it over.

    Thanks everyone!

    I ended up buying a boot tray. It is doing a good job of catching the majority of the mess pup makes with her water.

    It also defines an area as the dog's food area. I like that as I like organization.

    It is also easy to pick up and wash.

    I also use a boot tray style device but I think I had gotten mine at a Walmart store in the auto department. Works great for both food and water mess and cleans up easily in the sink or tub
