    Default Wool yarn lot question

Okay, I have this bag of wool yarn.
About 6 pounds. I want to sell it. Thinking a ebay auction.

    BUT....
I don't know the right key words for my title.
And any other ideas on how to describe it.

I so far would use the words WOOL, YARN, LOT
I am lost as far as what style of yarn....
is this stuff hand spun ?
And would it be good for felting ?
No labels on any of it.
A few skeins do have what appears to be a little cat
hair on them. I would disclose that in the auction.

And not sure this is the right forum to put this under, so if anyone knows a better one, please feel free to move it. Thanks.

The one picture shows a close up. The rest of the yarn is basically the same,
    but different colors.

I'm a knitter but I don't use wool. It does look more like spun and not what would be used for felting. Not that I felt.

The yarn looks nice though. I think your tags are good. Maybe add "large" or "huge" You could also try "hand spun?" with a question mark. Then in your description state you are not sure.

I have bought synthetic yarn from Ebay and from someone on Ravelry who had yarn to sell. My first question is always "is it from a smoke free environment?"

I think the pictures will help sell the yarn. I would think you should have no trouble selling it. Good luck!

Look for others selling similar things. I would also consider selling this on kijiji (their classifieds section). eBay Classifieds (Kijiji) - Post & Search Free Local Classified Ads.

The best place for me to sell this yarn will be ebay.
If I know the value, I can put it up on craigslist.
I don't have enough searchable key words for the title yet.
I believe it is hand spun.
I am just looking for a more proper name for it.

Let's say I want to sell a old car on ebay.
    Let's try some different titles.
    Ford car
    or
    Vintage ford car
    OR ........
now if I add more info............like.......
1941 Ford Street Rod Sedan Turn Key

You can see the last title should get more looks........

Now, I need more details for my yarn description

Usually anything with a sheen to it isn't too good for felting. Should go quick on E-bay, but you might want to include the gauge (generally) and the weight of the whole lot. Then people will know if it is enough for their project.
