Default April 15 over. How'd you do with the IRS?

Last year paid a bundle. This year got a refund. Part of it went for the new water heater. . .

owed 1812.00. And that was because my dh does some freelance work outside of his regular job that he is responsible for the taxes for. We have an ING account to set aside about 30% of that income to cover it.

It was sad to have to write the check, but glad that is was set aside. I set in the check on the 13th of April and the check cleared on the 16th. I thought that was pretty fast!

We had a smallish refund from fed/state. Around 1600$ and it went towards paying down debt.

We adjusted our withholdings last year so that we didn't give the government an interest free loan of our money.

Around $1000 back, I don't remember the exact amount. Most of it went to the IRA.

We grossly overpaid last year so we got a refund but we still have to pay quarterly. We "should" come out even next year....

We had to pay state tax as well.
