What's a great price for portobello caps?
~I think the last time I priced them they were about $1.50 per cap. DH saw them at Aldi 4 caps for $3. Sounds like a great deal. Is it?~

I wish I could remember how much a pkg. of 2 weighs...I want to say 2 is about 6 or 8 oz, so 4 would be about a pound. I can get an 8 oz. pkg. baby bellas for $1.50 pretty often, but rarely see them lower than that, so...I would say yes, that sounds like a good price to me. MMMM Portabello Burgers. YUM

Anything under 5.99 a pound is considered a good price here!!

~It's not something I price often since I buy them once every 3 years or so for a special splurge.
DH picked some up for me last night and they were 3 caps(2oz each) for $2, or $5.30lb. I told him to stop buying me sweets to "treat" me so even if this was pricey, it's better than the 2lb bag of jelly beans he bought for me a couple of weeks ago.

That sounds like a good deal. I know the last time I bought them I got them at Sams. Just can't remember how much they were. Do know that they were a four pack.
