Green Beans as Crunchy as potatoe chips. Anyone know how to make them
HI … I’ve recently tasted the most delicious food. Crunchy green beans. My husband and I found them at a farm stand by the side of the road.
Trader Joes has something like this too: Go the trader joe site and type in crunchy green beans and you'll be able to see how they look.
I asked the gal selling them how they were made and she said First they were dehydrated, them sprayed with canola oil, and lightly Salted and then baked at 350 for 5-10 minutes.
They were not all shriveled up … they were almost the same size as they were When they went into to oven… they were as crispy as a potato chip.
Does anyone know how to make these? If not do you have any sources I might Go to? I’ve looked for hours online.
I have your Excalibur dehydrator … the 9 tray one.
The farm girl did say they use a commercial dehydrator. Would that be any different temperature wise?
By the way ... they were very expensive. $3.00 for about 3oz.

I went to ask.com and typed in crunchy green beans and here is what came up.Crunchy Green Beans (Missing french fries?) : Salads Veggies & Side Dishes : Active Low-Carber Forums Maybe this will help. No dehydrator, but goes in the oven longer

freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
then live on the rest!
i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

Now you have me curious. I see them at the grocery store and have wondered how they taste. Will try them now. Will be nice to have another snack since I can't eat potato chips which I really used to love!
