Steam cleaner, or carpet shampooer? People frequently say one when they mean the other.

If the latter, I have a Bissell Pro-Heat 2 which seems to do its job.

    Default Carpet Steam Cleaner

We used to have a Bissell Steam cleaner that literally broke before your eyes. So we bought a Hoover Steam Cleaner at Best Buy and we love it. Great quality,

Just bought a Bissel green machine Pro heat at Walmart for $99. I have no carpet in the house. I bought this for the furniture and the cars. It's small for storage which is what I need. I haven't tried it yet. It's turned very hot outside ( triple digits) and I'm staying in. Hopefully I can try this out soon and give a review.

I just bought one from QVC and I LOVE it! It take tap water and heats up fast! I use it on all my floors.. I did notice though that if your floors are really dirty, you have to let it dry in between and do it again..
