    Default HSA and Pre-Tax Dollars

    I am in the process of buying an individual HDHP w/HSA option. I know you can fund an HSA with pre-tax dollars, but I don't know if or how this is possible if you are doing it as an individual without employer sponsorship. Does anyone have any experience with this?

    I believe you do it with automatic withdrawal each month and the company you are working with will set it up for you.
