    Talking Handmade furniture polish

    Has anyone tried the handmade furniture polish made with olive oil and lemon juice??

    I made some and really like it, but not sure how long it stays good in the spray bottle/container you put it in,,, does anyone know???

    I just started it and love the results and no cloudy film like the generic makes.. I realized that the amount it says to mix is much more than I need as I only polish one lg table, so I am going to half the amount next time..

    Mix in a sprayer bottle:

    * 1 cup olive oil
    * 1/2 cup lemon juice

    Shake well and apply a small amount to a flannel cleaning rag or cleaning cloth. Spread evenly over furniture surface. Turn cloth to a dry side and polish dry.

    Thank you and I'm going to try this. I would think the shelf life would last for awhile.

    I can't afford the name brand ones so only used the generic and it always left my table looking cloudy.. I came across this and figured if it doesn't work I can use the oil and lemon juice for something else, so not a waste of money, but I tried it and liked it..

    You can also use mineral oil, without the lemon. Unlike olive oil, it won't go rancid.
