    Default Water Jugs

We buy our water in plastic jugs and I know it is not a very frugal thing but our water is not good for drinking and making coffee. So I was wanting to know off some way I could make things like baskets or buckets for my grandchildern classrooms. One is in preschool and the other is in 1st. I would like ideas with may be halloween ,Christmas and Easter. I know it will take a lot of cutting and hole punches but I thought it would be nice if I could come up with something.

This is the result of my Google search. I clicked on images and there are tons of ideas from baskets to storage bins to ghosts and lanterns.

I make cute toy carriers with milk/water jugs -- cut off the tops leaving about 4 inches at the bottom. . . punch holes around the top of this. I then crochet tops and drawstrings to mine, but I've also cut fabric, added casing and drawstrings to the top, hemmed the bottom and sewed it to the plastic bottom - adding buttons along the way for stability.
