what happened to abc soaps today?
did i miss something? i usually tape them and watch them later at night. anyone know?

was there maybe a big baseball game ( when does world series start ) or tennis match etc on they seem to pre-empt shows on their channel and also cause re-runs on the other channels.

googled it = apparently due to budget cuts each show is making ~ 20 less episodes a year and re-running specials or salutes as they are calling them
looks like everyone cutting back lol

i dont know with soaps i know with sitcoms and dramas that are prime time its per episode .
maybe they cut back episodes instead of raises /- they all take the same vacation time each year - the stars - crew etc and just shut the studio down for a month ?
they would save on the behind the scenes crew the electricity - the food they usually have out etc etc*~Debbi~*
