Mine go on the floor of my appliance closet on my porch. Food is in plastic tubs. Box holds shampoos, flea treatments, brushes. Treats are on top of cabinet on porch near closet. Leash hangs over the back of a chair at the kitchen table and is near door. Also near door is a trunk (that we use as a seat while putting boots & shoes on) and on the inside are clean towels I store for paw wiping. The current paw & belly wiping towel in use is hanging on a hook nearby. My dog doesn't play with toys
and the cat only does when I do, lol and they are in a basket in the livingroom. Dog eats on porch near the food bins, cat in kitchen and the dog doesn't bother the cats food.
He's a god boy.

The dog food is in the big walk in closet under the stairs (kitchen) in a big plastic bin. Cat food is in the utility room closet in a plastic bin. Clippers, brushes, etc, in a plastic shoe box in the utility room. Leash (every day walk) is in the coat closet on the shelf next to my hat and gloves.

we, well my DH, got one of those step on to open lid containers designed for trash, it's the only stainless looking "appliance" i own! works great, dogs can't/don't get into it - i just have to remember to OPEN lid before bending down as to not whack myself in the face! it holds the contents of a 33# bag of food just perfectly.
the dogs pen is right by the front door, so we just artfully drape the muddy paw towels right there (attractive as all get out, something you just won't SEE in BH&G!) and their leashes hang off the end of the curtain rod.
i have a little catchall at the end of my kitchen counter and we keep a small bowl there for treats, rest of em go in the cupboard right above, next to the light bulbs.
couldn't tell ya where the brush is....it's never where i think it is for sure!

Pet food goes into 5 gallon containers that seal. They are stored in the garage.
Pet toys go into their basket in the front room.
Leashes go in their basket in the entry way.
Shampoo goes in the bathroom.
Brushes and dremel tool (nails) go into the laundry room. They are stored in the pedestal under the washer/dryer.
All medicines go into a basket labeled pet.

Cat food is stored in the kitchen in a very clean plastic cat litter bucket. Cat treats and hairball medicine is on top of the refrigerator. Cat toys are in a small basket under the tv stand. Catnip is stored in the closet. (Don't want them getting in to the stuff by themselves. lol) Grooming supplies are kept in the tv stand drawer. Cat cleaning wipes are in the closet.
Now that I have written this all out all I can say is Oh My G*D!!! I didn't realize how much stuff I had for them. lol

Dh built a gorgeous wood dog food bin that sits in our kitchen, so the food is in that (the upper 3/4), and the bottom 1/4 is storage, and right now, that's empty. One of the dogs decided he likes to open up the door and drag everything out whenever we leave the house, so no more of that. The treats are on the kitchen counter for now, the brushes and clippers and such are in a drawer in my dining room cabinet, and the leashes and backpacks are on the wicker rocker on the front porch. Toys are in a huge basket in the family room, and we have 3 very large homemade dogs beds in various rooms at various times.
Wow, I hadn't realized how much the dogs have overtaken the house, lol!

Dry bird food goes in the freezer to keep moths at bay. Dry and canned dog food goes in the bathroom, on a series of shelves there and is rotated out as new stuff comes in. Pellets and hay for goats and donkeys in the tack room along with a 250 gallon container in which I keep chicken food.

The dry dog food is stored out in the garage as it is 35 pound bag.
The dogs have 'their own cabinet' in computer room with bath items, including old towels, neck-kerchiefs, trimmers, combs, and any meds. and extra collars, new toys - not yet played with, etc.
Then they have another 1/2 shelf in a kitchen cupboard where the treats are stored.
Travel kennels are downstairs along with blankets for the household kennels.
Any toys that are left on LR floor when they go to bed get kicked under the nearest piece of furniture (that they can get under) or tossed behind the couch and they have to find them..........which they do. Hunting for their toys has become quite a game.

We have a dog closet. Food gets stored in an airtight bin.
It is what it is.
