    Default Anyone have Wii?

I was looking for opintions on the Wii, I have been thinking about getting one lately and am wondering what everyone thinks. Its and me and my 2 year old dd so it would be nice to do in the evenings. I'm most interested in the mario and donkey kong new and old games, some of the dance games, zumba and wii fit plus. Its not as pricey as the other gaming systems and it seems like it would be good to use with a group of people to? I would love to hear opinions!

We have the wii. I love it. I like the wii fit with balance board and I love the Gold's Gym cardio (uses the balance board too).

The kids have a couple Mario games, some of the Lego games and sport games. It's fun.

Our house rule is that the kids have to do their piano before the wii and I have to do the wii before my piano!! LOL!!

Video game consoles are usually priced the same at different retailers within a couple dollars. I think I saw the Wii for $195 during Christmas.

I love our Wii. The kids have quite a few games that they love to play. I love having the original Marios to play The sport games are fun too.

The nice thing about the Wii, is that there are pre-loaded games on the system.

In case you are OK with buying "used" games, you can order pre-owned games from GameStop.com. They guarantee their games and if you ever have an issue with one not working properly within the warranty period, they will gladly exchange. Depending on where you are located in the country, they may have an actual brick and mortar location near you. If you are interested, check their website for locations. We have been doing business with them for years and have spent literally thousands of dollars with them. Only once have we had a problem with a pre-owned game, game system or accessory. Ordered the item online, exchanged it in the store with no trouble whatsoever. From time to time they will have a buy 2 get 1 free sale on all pre-owned games, accessories, etc...In November they ran this promotion and I was able to get 7 Wii games for less than $125 - delivered.

They also sell pre-owned game consoles as well. I am not sure of their price for a pre-owned Wii though. The website can tell you.

We have had a Wii since they first came out. Our kids are older (17 and 15) and have not used it as much as their Xbox360. but, they do enjoy it. We have the Rock band drums, microphone, guitars (which have rarely been touched) and at least twenty to twenty five other games. Several are Mario games and are my personal favorites. Mario Cart is pretty cool. It's fun to use the Wii wheel to steer your little character. Also, Paper Mario is another one they enjoy.

I agree 100% with Neeley! We don't go anywhere BUT GameStop. We LOVE the Wii and you will too. But GameStop is THE place to go. No sense paying full price for a new game. Never have had an issue with used games.

BF got me one for for Valentines day last year. I love it. I can download the old games I grew up with from the Wii store like Super Mario 3 that I wanted soo bad and never got. It costs $5 now.

You can also use it for Netflix which is nice.

As I didn't buy it I have no idea of the cost, but I think its just aces.

We have a Wii and love it. It's just my husband and I, but we can get games that I like to play (quick in and out) and ones that he likes (more involved). We also love to play when we have company.
