looking for a corndog recipe...:(
I just tried a corndog recipe... and it was disgusting!
My whole family loves corndogs so I thought it would be a good thing to make homemade since they're a bit expensive....
If you have a recipe would you please share it?
Thanks!Last edited by alarosalpn; 02-10-2011 at 12:54 PM. Reason: put a website in and it kept showing "it is beter fried than typedspam!"

I have added spices to a box of corn muffin mix - some garlic powder, some onion powder, some paprika, Mmmmm.
I did use AB's tip of putting the batter in a drinking glass and dunking the dog in there to get it coated. The Free Spirit Saver who walks the path with Greebo.

I think it was a box of Jiffy Corn Muffin mix. I followed the directions to make muffins, added some extra spices then poured it into a glass.
I floured the hot dogs, shook off the excess and dunked them into the glass. I only have a baby fry daddy so I wasn't able to put sticks into the dogs and still have them fit.
I'm not a huge fan of corn bread so the muffin mix is a little sweeter. They fried nicely though. The Free Spirit Saver who walks the path with Greebo.
