Thread: All You Magazine

Being intrigued by this thread, I bought an issue of All You at WalMart yesterday. I read some of it last night and I really liked it. Is it a weekly or monthly magazine? Do you really get more coupons if you buy it at the WalMart store for $2.49 an issue? Also, I am thinking of getting this for my mom as a Mother's Day gift, but the website made it sound like they only send out one copy a month to the subscribers. Is that true? If it is a weekly magazine then what is left out of all of the issues in order to make a one month magazine from a weekly magazine? Thanks for all replies.

It is a monthly magazine. Yes, you do get a few more coupons in the ones sold in Wal-Mart. I am a member of a coupon forum and every month we compare the coupons in the subscription issue versus the newsstand issue. If you can get the subscription for a deeply discounted rate, the subscription would probably be worth it.

Thank you Neely. I will get this magazine for myself and then order a gift subscription for my mom for Mother's Day.

I buy it when I can, the coupons are great...I usually end up using those with in-store coupons at Walgreens.

Interesting discussions - always wondered about the magazine. Think I will pick up a copy and check it out.
Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

I don't shop at Walmart, but I subscribe to and love All You magazine! I think the articles are great. They use real women (actual readers) as models for their fashion spreads, which I think is really cool. They usually post most of the content from the articles on their website. The coupons are good too. The magazine is aimed at those trying to save money and live a frugal lifestyle.

I pick up a copy at Walmart monthly. I don't use a lot of the coupons but always use enough of them to more than pay for the magazine.

Yeah, it's "exclusively available" at Walmart.
I'm starting to wonder if Walmart owns the magazine...
ETA: If you don't shop at Walmart but want to check it out, you can get two free trial issues: https://subscription.allyou.com/stor...5?link=1003762
I did this (I don't shop at Walmart) and just canceled and wasn't charged for the whole subscription.

Because of big money troubles I can no longer buy magazines for fun. But I've heard/read a lot about this magazine and all the coupons in it. For me, the coupons I need are food & cleaning supplies I need, not makeup, etc,. I saw an offer for $10.00 for 6 issues so I decided to take a chance. I've received 2 issues & so far I've only been able to use a couple $1.00 coupons because as I suspected, it is more coupons for things I can't buy. But it's a nice magazine & this was a cheap way to find out by the time it r uns out whether or not it saves me any money.
