I tuess you would have to use a special symbol set that contains it. I find it very inconvenience not having it on the keyboard. I'm old enough to have used typewriters that did.

You need a pc, not a Mac, with numerical keys to the right of your keyboard.

You'll see a NumLock key at the top of this numerical keyboard.

Press it. A little light will go on. (I always have NumLock on)

Then hold down the Alt key while pressing 155 on the numerical keyboard.

I can post a link to a page with all the Alt codes for special symbols, if you like.

You can also find the "Character Map" on your PC (Start menu --> All Programs (on Windows 7 anyway) --> Accessories --> System Tools) and copy that character or any other character.

    Yes, PLEASE DO.

    I tried that........ ¢ ¢ great.......now if I can remember the
    combo.

I would love to have the link as I have always wondered how to
get a 'tilda' over a letter when you are typing certain Spanish words.
Never could do it........IE: la nina........supposed to have a tilda
over the second n........how do you do that?
Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

On a Mac it's Option or Alt (depending on your keyboard) and the 4 key. Same key as the $ sign, just hit option instead of shift.
