    Default Hairspray Removal?

    Anyone have a tried and true method of washing out mega teased and well hairsprayed hair?

    Just rinse really well and wash it as much as needed, until a good lather. Might be a few times. Use conditioner and comb out tangles.

    Conditioner. Conditioner. Conditioner.

    Wash it really well then condition. If you have run a couple of rounds of conditioner through it and you still have tangles and hairspray residue, then I would suggest leaving conditioner in anywhere from a few hours to overnight.

    Shampoo with a bit of baking soda added...it works to eliminate the hairspray...than conditioner... heavy duty kind

    Dish soap or clarifying shampoo will get the hairspray residue out......comb the teasing out first, slowly and in small sections, then wash with hot water and the dish soap or clarifying shampoo, and use a good conditioner after. But be careful, if you color your hair the dish soap and clarifying shampoo will pull some color out too....I'm a hairstylist, and this is the advice I would offer to any of my clients!
