    Default Eye Make Up Removal

Just wondered how many out there actually take the time to properly remove their eye make up and what they used. I've heard baby oil does the same job (if not better) of removing waterproof stuff then the brand name.

So...how do you remove it and what do you use?

I answered "other" simply because I will use whatever I have at the time.

first of all, I don't wear make up very often - so I never buy eye make up remover, but I keep all samples.

Right now, I have a small Mary Kay sample bottle, that should last me a while -

If I didn't have that, I'd just use soap & water.

Baby wipes! I wear full makeup every day, including shadow, liner, and mascara. I use one wipe, first my face, then the other side of the wipe for my eyes. Works like a charm.

I voted other. I wash my face daily with Purity (made simple) by Philosophy. It is a complete face wash/make-up remover and gentle enough to use on my eyes. I've used this particular product for several years and love it.

I wash my face in the shower with bodywash. That normally gets is all off. If I don't take a shower before bed, I wash my face with soap and water in the sink then use Vaseline to remove any left over mascara.

I never remove my eye makeup at night. I go to sleep and shower the next day and wash my face. If there is anything smeared, I use my my face lotion on a cotton ball. Works great for me.

I apply face lotion on my eyes and wipe them off with baby wipes. Afterward I will use a fresh wipe to clean all my face.

I use coconut oil to remove my eye make up. I then use a gentle face soap then reapply coconut oil for the night.

I use the CVS eye makeup remover. They had a two for one sale on the big size plus there were bottler that actually contained more than usual so I bought two of them. Lasts a long time since I wear mascara infrequently. Have never had a problem with it.

Have used baby oil but it is just to oily for me.

I use a dot of baby shampoo on a qtip or cotton ball. I have it on hand for DD and I find it works best and removing mascara without stinging my eyes

I never wear waterproof mascara, because I think it requires too much tugging aroung the eyes to get it off. I use regular Cetaphil cleanser to remove my mascara and makeup with washing.Works fine.

I use Neutrogena makeup remover. I can't stand lotions (they irritate my eyes so I use a liquid). Sometimes I also use makeup wipes, I think the ones I have are Ponds. I don't wear makeup often, so both last me a long time. Here is what I use:
