Default how do you get the $%#@! lights to stay up?

I'm trying to put holiday lights around the inside of my front windows. I can't put nails or screws in my new vinyl windows. Suction cups won't stay put on the glass or the plastic frame. I have even tried the bigger sized ones. Help!

How about the 3M things that stick to the whatever and would hold the lights and when you're done you pull the strip straight down and it supposedly come off clean.

Yep, the above posted entered before I did. That's it. We have it holding a poster board now.

I was going to suggest duct tape.

is there any way that you can use fishing line? no one would be able to see it and if you get a heavier weight, it shouldn't break.
i also use the ornament hangers for various things. you can get them in different colors.
these two things would only work if you have something to tie them to or be able to twist them around to keep the lights up.HTH

Don't use duct tape - it will leave a sticky residue when you go to pull it off. Instead you want PAINTERS TAPE - they come in many different colours nowdays. You're only leaving the lights up for a month right?

Oooo... Painters tape is wonderful stuff! I forgot all about it. You are so right. It is a much better choice.

The Command hooks REALLY work and REALLY come off cleanly. I have jillions of them and LOVE them!

You could use clear sealing tape. It comes on a roll just like duct tape. Cut pieces just long enough to tape the sections of wiring between the bulbs. I use this tape a lot around the house. I think it sticks better than duct tape and doesn't leave a residue when you take it off.
