    Default Best Romantic Movie

I'm planning Valentines Day and I'd like your input on the best romantic movie. Give me some ideas. Chick flicks welcome as well as "romantic" guy movies.

    Thanks

The Notebook is a great movie I think it is about loves endurance.
What dreams may come stars Robin Williams and it is a tear jerker. This couples children die in a car crash, she has a nervous break down and he dies. But is about how love endures parent, child, and spouse... It is a beautiful movie visually stunning and a moving story about love.
Sunshine on a Spotted Mind Jim Carey and Kate Winslet there is a machine that can take all the memories away when someone breaks your heart. and What happens? it is enduring, sweet, funny and weird.
    Hope this helps....

Murphy's Romance is a good one with James Garner and Sally Fields.

One of the few romantic movies I like, I cry at the end every single stupid time. EVERY SINGLE TIME. *rolling eyes at myself*

    love it.

Romantic movies I love that my husband also likes:

When Harry Met Sally, hands down, #1
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, trippy, genuine emotion, great acting
Four Weddings and a Funeral, funny and touching Brit humor
Strictly Ballroom, a fairly ordinary Cinderella story plot, but told in a unique, colorful way
    (500) Days of Summer, non-traditional, non-linear romance

~My favorite move of all time, The Quiet Man! John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara in beautiful Ireland. It's just so simple and sweet but with some brawling and enough jokes to keep my DH happy too.
As a second, this will probably sound weird and it did to my DH way back when we were dating, but The African Queen. He kept looking at me strangely and wondered how in the world watching two old people go down a river would be interesting but soon he was hooked. It's a very funny and touching movie with lots of excitement.
Please don't make your husband sit through The Notebook. I barely got through it. Pick Braveheart and make it a special night for him. Most guys think BH is really romantic. ~

I love You've Got Mail. These are more Christmas-y, but I absolutely love The Holiday and Love Actually.
