I just started taking down my decorations today. My house looked so warm and festive over the Christmas season. I haven't been in a big hurry to get everything packed up.

How much we enjoy what we have is more important than how much we have. Life is full of people who have more than they know what to do with, but cannot be content. It is the capacity to enjoy life that brings contentment.---Unknown

I'm surprised - I was expecting to read more people keeping their decorations up longer. I took ours down yesterday and felt a little guilty. DH was sad - I think he was expecting me to leave them up quite a bit longer.

Decorations come down at the end of the month the holiday appears in. At least the outside decorations do.
