    Default Thread disappeared?

    Hi-

I come on here once in a while and read the threads I have recently posted on. I see that one has disappeared. It originally started a few days ago. It wasn't my thread, but was one I posted on. Where did it go? Can people remove threads?

Moderators and Admin can. On some forums, mods just make threads go poof if they get too hot and too difficult to clean up.

Wow- I must have missed something. There was discussion going on, but nothing ugly last I looked, but I could have missed something. Oh, well. No big deal. I just was confused. Thanks!

I don't know if that's what happened. I'm just saying mods and Admin can poof a thread. I don't moderate here, but I do on another forum, and sometimes threads have gone so far off the rails there's no amount of editing that can fix it. Then we nuke 'em.

If someone who started the thread asks for it to be removed for some reason, sometimes that can happen too.

I hadn't noticed anything nasty happening but I don't read a lot of the threads either.

Thread was removed. Happens once in a while.
    Nothing to see.

    I stole the thread.

    I also kicked a kitten.

    So there.
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"
