Baby items and Ebay
Hello fellow savers
We are working on moving and I have a ton of baby items. Would it be best to try and have a rummage, post items on Ebay and Cl or to just donate. I have a ton. Would like to see some of the money come back but not sure if its worth moving it to the new house to sell from there.

I think clothes would do well on Ebay, larger items I would try CL, then donate if no interest. Or a yard sale if your location is suitable, and advertise "BABY ITEMS" so you will draw the right crowd.
Good luck, we moved from a 9 room house to a 4 room house and did NOT get rid of stuff until after the move - BIG mistake.

I would FIRST bundle them in groups and try CL...........free to do and no fees. If you have the time........and desire........go for Ebay.
It depends on your CL.............if it is a busy one.........ours is used a lot and I have had very good luck with both........selling on CL, buying and giving away freebies!
I always try what is FREE first................

50 free auction listings a month on Ebay, can't beat that. You do have to pay final value fees, but there are no people coming to your home. You have to decide which is more important to you.

JMO but the time involved to take pictures and list and properly describe the items on ebay may outweight any extra $$ you may make on them and with ebay you also depends on name brands etc and you have to pack and make sure items have delivery confirmation etc etc
i would do craigslist as a bulk sale for the clothing
and this is coming from someone who made a living ebaying and had a ebay store for a few years that wont even sell my teens used name brand clothes anymore because some of the buyers are plain crazy and the time involved . i just give them away to friends or family .*~Debbi~*

Are you moving in the same area? If so you may have luck at a consignment shop. Pick out the best clothing and let them sell it. Donate the rest and be sure to get a receipt for taxes.
