Oh is that dot in the distance the wagon. Me thinks I better run to catch up to it so I can jump back on.
After Xmas, I'm just plain staying out of stores. When the kids are both in school, I'm just going to curl up on the couch and knit all that yarn I bought, watch movies I tape off AMC, TNT etc. I'm without the kids for 2 hours and 45 minutes a day.

Even though I feel as if I am doing things better, I still feel as if I am trying just to get in the wagon.

I dont consider it falling off, but I do splurge once in a while for things, but I figure I am frugal in other aspects to make up for it.
Like some days I really hate beign cold so I will crank the heat, or not feel like cooking so we will go out to eat, or see something I really want, and heck just buy it without thinking I could get somewhere else cheaper, or do I really need this.
But then I get on a roll and do the extreme and stick with that for weeks at a time.

Murphy knocked me off me wagon. Mostly unexpected dental costs & higher than expected optical bills. Spent close to $1500 on those items.

My fun thing this season will be an airplane ticket to visit family in the spring.

I have fallen off and at the worst possible time. I had a hysterectomy on 11/30 so I am falling victim of convenience purchasing and a great deal of online vs store deals because I can't get out. Not only that but no TDI payments yet, so we are down to one paycheck until then.....
Gotta get back in gear! And build the EF back up again.

I have been off the frugal wagon just about all year. DD and grandson have been making me crazy. DD#2 could not work throughout her pregnancy and I fed her money like water. Now with her, her DH, and the baby living here it's kind of hard to be so frugal. Utilities and groceries are through the roof. Not to mention that my new grandson has been having Christmas every week since he was born. It's tough not to run out and buy everytime he out grows something. He is big, 20 lbs. and only 5 months old. He has out grown everything from his socks to his snowsuit.
DD#1 is getting married in June next year. I guess that speaks for it's self.
Just waiting for June here they will all be out by June and our empty nesting will begin. Our plan is to enjoy it and to save like heck for retirement.
