With the scannable coupons, the computer will catch it. Alot of cashiers with enter it by hand anyway, but not all, depending on if they are held accountable for the coupon errors when their drawers are totalled.

I think I'm a little confused, are you trying to use 2 manufacturer coupons on 1 item? I've never heard of that being ok. We can use 1 manuf and 1 store coupon on 1 item. Maybe I don't understand what you are saying. Could you help me understand? I am in Oregon, where are you? Maybe coupon policies are way different in different parts of the country?
Thanks,
Kris

I can understand the store refusing to let you use two .50/1 AND one $1.00/2 coupons when you only bought two items. You would need to buy four items to use all three coupons.

for the MAJORITY of my grocery shopping is done at albertsons where they take store competitor coupons (like i can use walgreens coupons or fred meyer coupons there) and i can combine those coupons with albertsons sale prices and a manufactured coupon
i shop at winco for only a few items, all bulk, no coupons for bulk coffee, or spices or flours or baking supplies...........winco takes manufactured coupons, but i do better at albertsons
walgreens for shampoo an stuff
walmart (for cat food most often, not too much else at walmart seems to be lower then sale prices and coupons at other stores)
rite aid (i dont shop here very often, the store seems "cold" to me from the personal that works there)
ridleys is the closest grocery store, they take coupons but i dont buy hardly anything there because their regular prices suck, and their customer service is even worse then their prices (i had been spending 75 or more a week in ridleys, now because i hate everything about that store, i spend less then $20 a week there)
fred meyer takes coupons but i only buy their markdown veggies and fruits so no coupons there

I use coupons everywhere! My stores that double are Dillon's and Homeland, but I use plenty of coupons at Super Target, Walgreen's, and Wal-Mart, too.

I rarely use coupons unless it is for eating out.
I know, I'm not very frugal in that area. I don't get the newspaper, I throw away the junk ads from the mail unless they are for specific eating out places that I know we might visit. I had a box for coupons and spent more time organizing and weeding through them than I actually used them. I have, though, started using the price book for the few items I've purchased since I've downloaded that. It will be interesting to find out where the best deals are for my household items.
I found that having the coupons around made me want the item because I had the coupon. Not because I needed the item. At this time I'm working on using up everything I have on hand. (who knew I had three tubes of toothpaste laying around?!)LDR

I use them at Wal mart. Unfortunately no stores in my town doubles coupons so most of the time I don't even bother.
