Coupon Shopping .. Where do ya'll shop??

Every where i go around here will only take one coupon per item PERIOD... thats why i stopped using coupons ... i hardly ever use them anymore because they are just not worth it to me.

For yall that shop with coupons where do yall shop with them?

How many multiples were you trying to use at once? My first time around I realized that people looked at me crazy like when i tried to use 20 bogo coupons of the same kind. I stick to 3 at a time and am able to keep the wild stares to a minimum. I also make daily (sometimes every other day) stops at CVS in order to avoid the whole... frequent stops and transactions in one day thing. There are several CVS' near the house and near my job so its no biggie.

Once at Food World, the cashier wouldn't take my coupons bc she said limit one coupon per purchase instead of per item. I didn't get to use all of my coupons so the next time I was in there, I spoke to the manager. He took me to a cashier and said "whatever coupons she gives you let her use them even if she didn't buy the item!!" I only used the ones for my current purchase and the previous ones.

I was using 3 coupons on 2 items. It was something like $0.50 off an item for 2 of the coupons and then $1.00 off for 2. None of the coupons said they had to be the only coupon for the purchase, but store policy at foodlion was supposedly one coupon per item. Grrrr

I had Gawd 40 coupons that trip .. it was insane and they picked those out like it was nothing.

I go to foodlion too. I'm going to look and see what their actual coupon policy is.

I save most of the coupons for when Harris Teeter or Lowes Foods triples them, though if I do have a coupon that I want to use that is near expiration I will use it combined with a sale at any local store.

The #1 place for using my coupons is Shoprite.. I love their sales.... I love the cashiers who never give me a hard time even if I had 100 coupons..Other stores would be CVS,Walmart,Price Chopper..

I mostly shop at Tops. I think technically it's a 2 of the same coupon max, but they really don't make a big deal. When I was a cashier I did once get in trouble for letting someone use a honey nut cheerio coupon on regular cheerio's. I guess when the store sends them in for reimbursement it can be an issue if they don't carry the item!
I use some coupons at Walmart, but they don't double, so only $1 or more coupons there usually.
I like to try to get it all done in one store.
The only thing that bugs me is that our Tops will not honor coupons from the Tops website. That really irks me. I think they have a fear of home printed coupon scans.
Maybe go through the phone book and call around to see what the policies are?? Some stores print the policy in their ads as well, or ask the manager at your favorite store. The cashier might be confused with the policy.
