Question re: Bath & Body Works exchange

Will Bath & Body Works exchange items received as a gift?

I received some lovely body lotion as a gift... but with my sensitive skin, I can't use the B&BW lotion. Would they let me trade it, with no receipt, for some body spray or another item?

I've never done returns or exchanges there, but I figured someone here would know.
