    Default egg powder

I bought some egg powder. It states that you add 1 1/2 times water to powder. But I don't know what "measure" an egg is?? (Tbsp or two?)

2 Tbsp of egg powder to 1/4 cup water = 1 whole egg

You are talking about whole egg powder, correct? Not egg white only?

    I've never used/seen egg powder.
Is it found in the baking section? Do you just use it for baking? If not, how do you use it?
How does it compare, price & taste wise, to whole eggs?

Thanks for shedding some light on this new to me ingredient.

I guess it depends on the product you are using, but I do know for sure that one egg size large = 1/4 cup or 4 Tablespoons or 56ml

I have also been looking for this product. I haven't been able to find it locally - only online. Any store suggestions?

i use it just like i would a regular egg. my husband even scrambled some up just to see what they tasted like and it tasted like scrambled eggs. sometimes we use lots of eggs, sometimes we use very little. i got tired of throwing out half used cartons because they sat in the icebox for too long. so for me, its def. cheaper this way.
