    Question Survey: Your Handbag/Purse/Wallet

What does your handbag/purse/wallet say about
    you?

Most motivational speakers will tell you that these items
reflect your life and speak volumes. Stop right now
and look into yours. What does it say about your
    life?

Mines: I'm a neat freak but we won't talk about that.

~I don't think I've ever heard that before. My purses are older styles purchased at thrift stores. Not at all trendy. I am a very frugal, grounded person by nature. I choose a purse to compliment my outfit and pack it with just what I need for wherever I'm going. I'm a minimalist. I never buy purses that have a billion compartments. I like everything I'm going to use in one section. I'm not sure what that says about me.~

Mine says I like to travel light and just go with the flow. Mine is as small as I can get away with. I also like ones that I can wear across my body so I can be hands free, I detest shouder straps that slip & they always seem to. I definately wouldn't carry one at all if I didn't need ID, money, keys & phone.

But what about what you're carrying inside of the purse?
Is it organized, messy, how does it reflect your life?

    Thumbs up

I carry a fairly small simple black purse. But if you opened it, it would say "what are you keeping all these reciepts for?" I'm not sure what that says about me, but thanks to your post I'm going to get rid of them.

Mine is organized and messy. I tend to have purses with lots of compartments, and I carry small zippered bags in the purse, but I still end up pens, kleenex, cough drops, change, shopping lists, receipts, paper clips, and the like just floating around the bottom.

The basics that I carry are brush, reading glasses, kleenex, pens, keys, check book, credit card, license, a few pieces of paper money, a post-it note pad.

I don't like to carry a cell phone...... too much bother!

Somehow I end up with little bits of grit or sand in the bottom of my purse. Who knows?

~I suppose, since I carry only what I'll need for a certain trip, that I'm a planner. I'm not prepared for anything, but I am prepare for the plans I've laid out for myself. This is actually a fault of mine because I tend to plan too much and not DO as much as I plan. I've been changing that over the past two years. Did I answer right that time? ~

ok, sorry to add........I do "go through" it once a day, I hate it when I can't find something, I guess basically organized, but much like my desk, it doesn't look like it to the average eye.........

Mine's an example of my incongruities...

I used to have the big shapeless hobo bag with everything but the kitchen sink. I'd wash it now and then but it always became a mess again. We're talking old baby carrots gross (only one time)! Then my girlfriend bough me a little purse that is ultra compartmentalized, so I can't lose anything ( I have in the past). So now I'm tiny purse person. I have my checkbook, datebook, makeup kit (toofaced goodgirl/badgirl kit), license, debit card (sometimes), bill of the day, insurance card, union card, 1 wetnap, 1 pantiliner, foundation, and maybe UNO coupon with some cash value like extra care bucks.

...and then 4 out of 7 days I put it inside a tote bag or shopping bag LOL!

    ROFL,
There are no wrong answers. The way you described
the purses/handbags you have chosen also make a
statement about you but I was asking basically about
our organizational skills. I guess, are you organized or
do you just throw stuff in. Then look around your
living environment, is it the same way.

I just throw my stuff in, but its all in a compartment. Thats pretty much my house.

If you look at my house it looks all neat and tiddy but don't open a drawer or closet LOL

My purse has two sides, one holds just my wallet and phone but the other side it full of messy junk! What the heck does that say?!?!
